Who it's for

First PCs, esports players, and anyone coming from a console or laptop. High frame rates in Fortnite, Valorant, CS2 and Minecraft at 1080p; most new games at medium-to-high settings.

Why these parts

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600. Six cores, cooler included, fast enough for any budget graphics card.

Graphics: Intel Arc B570. 10GB of video memory, more than most cards at this price. Turn on Resizable BAR in the BIOS. Arc cards lose a lot of performance without it.

Motherboard: B550 Micro-ATX. Supports Resizable BAR and fast SSDs. AM4 is an older platform, which keeps boards cheap.

Memory: 16GB DDR4-3200. Two sticks for dual-channel speed. Two slots stay free for a later upgrade.

Storage: 1TB NVMe SSD. Fast loading, room for several big games.

Power supply: 650W. The build draws about 300W, leaving room for a bigger graphics card later.

Fans: Thermalright 3-pack. The Q300L comes with one rear fan. Put two of these in the front as intake.

Upgrade first

More FPS: an Arc B580 (12GB) or RX 9060 XT 16GB. The 650W power supply covers either.
